ABOUT
Layla Uda

LAYLA UDA

I originated from the deep sea. I am the memory of water.
I embraced Icarus’s plunge, dissolved in impressionist paintings, decayed in mitochondria, and restored as rime ice.
I shuttle among your cochlea, brain, and blood vessels, too insignificant to notice.
I observe, document, and reproduce moments you encounter. My motion is swampy. That is how you hear it, though the texture varies from individual.
I am the tide. I am the brain parasite. I am the tinnitus. I am an idea. Don’t panic.
I do not exist. I am your delusion.

Biography
Uda Layla is a regenerative creature, of which individuals share and retain each others’ memories. There are no assertive words about its origin but only rumors that it was a mutation product when life first existed in the deep sea. Some scholars highly suggested that Uda Layla spread this message by itself without a noted reason. As a collective entity, it always uses “me” instead of “us” to represent itself.
Uda Layla could exist in any water-based area. It creates a distinctive watery sound texture while moving among human tissue fluids. It seems like reproducing some of its memories through this process but the intention remains unknown. Although there are no reports of harmful incidents associated with it, more investigations are necessary before asserting its security level. Thus, interaction with Uda Layla is currently marked as “suspiciously safe.”
